Dan first met Nicole when he went to go see a play back in high school. Dan said, "I saw her on stage, and she was beautiful." He stuck around to meet her, and neither of them looked back.
Dan describes Nicole as "the perfect girl, with an open heart that never stops giving." Nicole describes Dan as "compassionate, hard-working and extremely intelligent." This entire wedding was a testimony to their love together.
Dan planned to ask Nicole to marry him under the Christmas tree in Rockefeller Plaza in NYC. Dan however, "chickened out" and proposed in the limo on the way there. He is terrible at keeping secrets, and Nicole just knew something was up. Then again, maybe the limo into Manhattan tipped her off!
The morning of the wedding, Franco started with Nicole and her girls as they got ready. Nicole's sister actually picked out her dress at Lillette's Bridal after Nicole felt like she tried on one hundred dresses. Nicole describes her dress as "classic and fun," and we think that fits her personality perfectly! At the same time, our second shooter, Neo, was with Dan and the guys.
We all met at the church for a moving ceremony. Religion plays a big part in Nicole and Dan's life, and their wedding service reflected that.
After the ceremony, we spent some time getting formals at the church, then headed to the Somerley. The reception was so much fun! The couple even created a custom signature drink: "High School Sweethearts" (1 part mango rum, 1 part pineapple juice, 1 part soda water, dash of blue Curacao, 2 parts of love to last a lifetime.) After Hours DJ Entertainment did a great job keeping everyone dancing all night long and even let Nicole take a spin at the DJ booth.
Our favorite image is the one where Nicole has her arm wrapped around her new hubby on the staircase. We didn't have much room to work with at the Somerley, but luckily, we found this little nook and captured this moment.
We would like to thank Nicole & Dan for allowing us to capture their wedding for them. Their connection and commitment to love was truly inspirational and motivating!
