Old Westbury Gardens
A little more about old Westbury Gardens...
When American financier John S. Phipps asked British-born Margarita Grace to marry him, he promised her that one day she would have an English country house and gardens reminiscent of those of her native England. Today, that house and those gardens -– Old Westbury Gardens -– are listed on the National Register of Historic Places, and that love story frames the magnificent Charles II – style mansion and the 160 acres of formal gardens, tree-lined walks, lakes and grand allees that can be the setting for your wedding or engagement photographs to chronicle your own love story.
