Studio 27 was founded in 2010 by co-owners Steve & Franco.
The goal in mind, was to not only give loving couples incredible photos of their wedding day, but to make sure the couple has a good time being photographed, as well. Mission accomplished!
Upon it’s creation, Studio 27 set the wedding industry standard with the use of off camera lighting. Off camera lighting allows the photo artists at Studio 27 to add an incredible element of drama to a photo. Even though the team at Studio 27 are masters of lighting, they will all ALSO shoot with the use of natural light, allowing them to preserve the original mood and feeling of the day. The combination of off camera lighting as well as natural light photos, allows us to “wow” our couples with images they have always dreamed about since the wedding planning began. For some of you, even long before that! (You know who you are)

HOW DID STUDIO 27 GET IT’S NAME?
We felt a special studio deserved a meaningful name. The “27” is a dedication to Franco’s Mom, Anella, who passed way too early in life due to complications from asthma. Her birthday was the 27th of January. Anella was the inspiration and the strength behind Franco’s drive to open his own studio. Franco and Steve also agreed that a portion of each contract will be donated to the AAFA (Asthma & Allergy Foundation of America).

Monday through Thursday: 12:00pm – 8:00pm
Friday: 12:00pm – 5:00pm
Saturday: 9:00am – 5:00pm

HOW MANY IMAGES WILL I GET?
1500-2000 per photographer.
You will then choose the photos you would like edited creatively, giving you control of your favorites!
WHAT HAPPENS TO MY PHOTOGRAPHER IF THERE IS AN EMERGENCY ON OUR WEDDING DAY?
In the UNLIKELY event of an emergency, another talented Studio 27 photographer will be there to capture all your memories. Working with contracted photographers and not freelancers, gives us the flexibility to always have a team member on standby.
He/she will remain on hold and at home until every team member has checked in to their weddings.
WHAT IF IT RAINS OR SNOWS?
Studio 27 was one of the first companies to offer FREE rainy day re-shoots, and still remains as one of the only to still offer it. You read that correctly. If it rains or snows on your wedding day, we will do another photo shoot for you, completely free of charge!!!
This does not mean we will not take photos of you on your wedding day. If you are willing to brave the elements so will our team. We have amazing photos to show you in these situations.
Studio 27 team members are equipped with umbrellas and rain gear, should mother nature not cooperate. We take amazing photos in the rain and snow!
CAN YOU TELL ME IF YOU HAVE WORKED AT MY VENUE?
We certainly can. First, check our website. If for some reason you do not see any photos of your venue there, ask one of our wedding consultants. They will be happy to send you plenty of photos and or video from your venue taken by one of our team. We can also offer you references. If in the rare case we haven’t worked at your venue, we will be happy to do a site inspection at no additional cost.
DO YOU INCLUDE AN ENGAGEMENT SESSION?
Yes, its included in our packages, however, it can be removed if you don’t want one. If you do not want one, we will issue you money off your package price or apply the value to one of the additional options we offer.
WE HAVE A DESTINATION WEDDING, HOW DO YOU HANDLE TRAVEL?

DO YOU HAVE PHOTOBOOTHS?
Yes. We have open air booths and a mirror booth.
WILL MY PHOTOS BE EDITED?
YES! Best part…Studio 27 is one of the only studios that allows YOU to choose your edits. You will choose YOUR favorite 30 images to be creatively edits (filters, white balance, exposure, light cloning, & skin retouching). In addition we will edit all photos you choose to print with us and ALL the images that you choose for your album and parents albums.
WHAT IF ONE OF US DOESN’T LIKE OR FEEL COMFORTABLE IN FRONT OF THE CAMERA?
Relax…you are not alone. We get this question often. The team at Studio 27 are not team members only due to their amazing photo artistry. We pride ourselves on the personality of the team. They will make you feel comfortable with their humor and kindness. If you have an engagement session, you will see how comfortable it is working with our team. If you do not…have no fear, make an appointment to meet with your lead photographer and get to know him/her.
CAN I HAVE AN IDEA OF PRICING?
Our photography service is $4950 which includes just about everything you truly need. 2-photographers, lighting assistant, engagement session, a wedding album for you handmade in Italy, and 100 Thank you cards. If you would like to pull anything out of the package, you can and will receive money off, or have it applied to another one of our great services or products. Cinematography is $2500. This includes a cinematographer, cinematographer assistant, and of 2 types of edits. (Choose 2 of the 3 – Trailer, short film or feature film)
WHAT STYLE OF PHOTOGRAPHY DO YOU OFFER?
Modern, clean, natural & extravagant. A perfect mix of off camera lighting and natural light. We are constantly looking for the tender, loving moments, the secret little looks and smiles that make your photos authentic.
HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO GET MY ENGAGEMENT SHOOT PHOTOS?
It will take about 2 weeks to get the images to you.
CAN I CHOOSE MY PHOTOGRAPHER?
Yes you can! We will show you galleries of all the photographers available on your day. We will only show you who is available on your day. Once you choose, that photographer will be assigned to your wedding day.
HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO GET MY WEDDING PHOTOS?
Unlike most studios, you will receive your wedding photos 2 weeks after your wedding date. Your images will be hosted online. Your favorite photos will be returned to you 2 weeks after submission.
HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO GET MY WEDDING VIDEO?
Trailer (8 – 12 weeks from receipt of the form)
Short Film (16 – 20 weeks from receipt of the form)
Feature film (30 – 36 weeks from receipt of the form)
*If your video package contains multiple edits, your videos will be completed by the deadline of the longest film selected.
**Again, edits will not be assigned to our editing team until all the edit forms have been received. Deadline will be set by receipt of last form.

HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO GET MY ALBUM?
It will take 6-8 weeks from your photo submission, to receive your initial design. Once you have approved your design, it will take 4 weeks to receive your album.
HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO GET SAVE THE DATES AND THANK YOU CARDS?
It will take 7-10 days to receive your cards once the design is approved.
ARE MY PAYMENTS REFUNDABLE?
Payments are not refundable , but are transferrable to friends and family. They are also transferrable to a future date.
DO YOU OFFER DISCOUNTS IF WE ADD YOUR ENTERTAINMENT SERVICES?
Although we do not offer specific discounts for contracting 3 services with us, we do offer incentives. They change from month to month. Don’t be afraid to inquire about them.
